Overview
Our dedicated Kidney and Liver Transplant Units provide complete care for patients with organ failure. The multidisciplinary team ensures smooth pre-transplant evaluation, donor coordination, surgery, and post-operative management under one roof.
Kidney Transplant Services:
We perform transplants from both living and brain-dead donors, including ABO-incompatible and cross-match positive cases. Comprehensive donor exchange and cadaver registration facilities ensure ethical and efficient transplantation.
Our 24×7 transplant team, including transplant physicians and surgeons, monitors immunosuppressant drug levels like Tacrolimus and Cyclosporine to ensure graft survival and patient safety.
Nephrology and Dialysis:
The nephrology team provides diagnosis and treatment for kidney diseases such as glomerular disorders, diabetic nephropathy, and hypertension-induced kidney damage. Procedures include kidney biopsy, dialysis catheter placement, AV fistula, and graft procedures.
Both temporary and permanent dialysis options are available, supported by bedside and sonography-guided interventions.
Liver Transplant Services:
The liver transplant program treats liver cirrhosis, fibrosis, cancer, and metabolic disorders. Each case is evaluated through a multidisciplinary team involving hepatologists, dieticians, and physiotherapists to ensure holistic recovery.
The unit also provides advanced care for liver diseases such as hepatitis, portal hypertension, Wilson’s disease, and acute liver failure, with emphasis on personalized rehabilitation and dietary support.
