Dr. Aliasgar Behrainwala is a highly experienced Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over 30 years of overall surgical experience. He currently serves as the Head of Department (HOD) and practices at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS from B.J. Medical College, Pune, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga. He further pursued his MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from B.J. Medical College, Pune, along with a Diploma in Hospital Administration

Dr. Behrainwala has received advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery from the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, as well as from the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences and the International College of Surgeons, USA. With extensive experience in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries, he has successfully performed a large volume of complex cardiac procedures. He is an active member of the Medical Association of Mumbai, the Indian Medical Association, and the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons.
