Dr. Abbas Mistry is a distinguished Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive experience spanning over three decades. He completed his M.S. in General Surgery in 1986 and M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery in 1990 from the prestigious K.E.M. Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai. He continued as a Lecturer at K.E.M. Hospital until 1993 before entering private practice.

During his tenure at K.E.M. Hospital, he trained under eminent pioneers – Dr. K.S. Goleria in Craniofacial Surgery and Dr. S.R. Tambwekar in Microsurgery – which laid a strong foundation for his expertise in complex reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Mistry has been awarded the Travelling Fellowship (National Fellowship) by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India in 1992. He served as the President of the Maharashtra Association of Plastic Surgeons from 2018 to 2020 and is currently the Head of the Department of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. He is also a Faculty Member at the ETHICON Institute of Surgical Education (Johnson & Johnson), contributing to advanced microsurgical training. Alongside his clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Mistry remains actively involved in several social, charitable, and medical organizations, reflecting his commitment to community service and medical leadership.
